Cobh Ramblers Football Club has today announced the appointment of Darran O’Shea as the club’s new Academy Manager and U15 Head Coach.
O’Shea, who is currently the technical director of Dynamic Coaching Football Academy in Munster, will oversee our new schoolboys’ performance academy and manage our new U15 League of Ireland side.
Darran is a UEFA B Licensed coach and he joins the club with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Having impressed us immensely in conversation, Darran will be a huge asset to the club. Based in the Limerick and North Munster region, Darran has a wide knowledge of football in the Munster area.
Commenting on his new role, Darran spoke of his excitement at spearheading both the performance academy and the U15 side in what is their first season at League of Ireland level,
“I am delighted that the club have given me the opportunity to take this type of role and I can’t wait to get started. After meeting Stephen Henderson and listening to what he had to say, I knew straight away that I had to take this opportunity. Both myself and the club have an impressive vision going forward.”
His backroom staff will be revealed at a later date, as will the new u15 playing squad.
The SSE Airtricity League’s Under 15 League is set to kick-off in the Autumn.
