Tobi Adebayo-Rowling has a future at Sligo Rovers, that’s according to new manager Gerard Lyttle after their 1-1 draw with St Patrick’s Athletic.
Speaking exclusively to theleagueofireland.com Lyttle said when asked if he was still part of his plans going forward, despite being disciplined by the club during the week, and not been named in the squad for last night’s game, “Tobi is part of my plans. He’s a talented boy with a bright future ahead of him.”
Whilst not talking about the ‘incident’ (which you read by clicking here) Lyttle continued, “We felt his performances have been well below par of the standards he has set himself from last season, so chatting to him this week I thought it would be best for him to take a step back and watch the game from the stand and refocus on being a good player which is what he is. He will be available along with a few others now for cork game.”
