Boxing Champion Quigley will be in attendance at Finn Park tonight to cheer on his local team

Ever wanted to be photographed with a Boxing champion? Well tonight’s the night! Finn Harps Football Club have announced that the North American Boxing Federation Middleweight Champion Jason Quigley, a native of Laghey in Donegal, will be in attendance for tonight’s Premier Division clash against Limerick.

The club are looking forward to welcoming the boxer back to Finn Park once again. The twin towns man is the current holder of the North American Boxing Federation Middleweight Champion’s belt and has won all 13 of his professional fights.

Quigley won that title despite a broken hand early in the fight.
Previous to turning professional, Quigley had a superb amateur career which saw him rise to the number one ranking in the world, as well as narrowly missing out on a World Amateur Championship gold medal.

Quigley makes no secret of his pride in his roots, regularly photographed in his Harps or Donegal gear and earlier this year was at Finn Park to help promote season tickets for the 2017 campaign. The club are very proud to welcome Jason and his championship belt to Finn Park, and look forward to even greater success in future.

Quigley tweeted this yesterday;

As for all home league games, tickets are available around the county at the following outlets: Michael Murphy Sports, Letterkenny, Balor Theatre, Ballybofey, Kernans, Newtown, The Coachhouse, Donegal Town, McCauley’s Restaurant, Lifford, Macs Newsagents, Buncrana.
