Drogheda United have now drawn three straight matches 0-0 following their 5-0 drubbing to league leaders Cork City at Turners Cross.

The latest stalemate was in Dalymount Park on Friday evening as they frustrated a Bohemians side looking for back-to-back wins.

Drogheda’s Assistant Manager John Gill told theleagueofireland.com that they needed to get the defence sorted and that now it’s time to work on the attacking side of their game.

Gill said, “Yes another solid performance defensively, something we have worked hard on after what happened in Cork.”

“We just need to maybe work on our attacking options now, and also get some of our experienced players back like Killian Brennan and Sean Thornton.”

On new signing Ryan Masterson, who’s International clearance came through prior to kick-off, after he made his debut coming off the bench to replace Jake Hyland on 68 minutes, Gill said, “Ryan done well and we think he is capable of getting us some goals.”

“Overall we are still in the mix after the first half of season, and we feel we have more in us going into the second half.”
