Bohemians have tonight made a further addition to their squad with the signing of Dundalk winger Keith Dalton.
Dalton 19, made only one league appearance fir the Lilywhites when he featured in a 5-2 defeat to St Patrick’s Athletic, after Dundalk had wrapped up the league title. He also featured in a couple of League Cup games for Stephen Kenny’s men.
With the imminent arrival of Bray Wanderers winger Dylan Connolly at Oriel Park, Dalton was deemed surplus to requirements.
Manager Keith Long told bohemianfc “Keith is an exciting young wide player. He’s very talented and hungry to do well.”
“We’re delighted to have him at the club having watched his progress with Dundalk’s under-19s.”
“He will give us good options down the right side.”
The move will also see Dalton re-united with Georgie Poynton, who has had his loan spell from Dundalk extended until the end of the season last week.
Long is expected to make further additions to his squad, with talk of former Drogheda United striker Gareth McCaffrey joining, when the transfer window opens next week.
