Shamrock Rovers are into the Extra.ie FAI Cup final at the Aviva Stadium after a 2-0 victory over their great Dublin rivals Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
A header from Graham Burke inside the opening five minutes, followed by a late Aaron Greene strike sealed the win for Stephen Bradley’s men.
Burke linked up with fellow Irish International Jack Byrne to head in Byrne’s corner kick at the near post.

Bohemians defender Paddy Kirk kept the tie alive with a goal-line clearance on 70 minutes after Jack Byrne played in Graham Burke, he beautifully chipped Talbot, only for Kirk to get his head to the ball and clear it over the bar.
The game changed completely just six minutes later when Danny Mandroiu was red-carded following a late challenge on Sean Kavanagh.
Aaron Greene did have a goal disallowed for offside just minutes later, however he wasn’t to be denied and he struck ten minutes from time, getting on the end of Ronan Finn’s cross to guarantee the Hoops passage to the Aviva Stadium.
