The 27 year-old defender has spent his career with the Brandywell club, and scored the winning goal against Shamrock Rovers only last week. He also scored in the fantastic victory over 3-in-a-row champion Dundalk last Monday night.
It’s a huge shock to his family, his club Derry City, and the league of Ireland as a whole. McBride was found dead at his home this evening.
