Friday night’s action saw lots of goals, pitch inspection drama, a Dublin Derby, a floodlight failure (again!) and plenty of controversy.

‘Absolutely disgraceful, no desire’ Shels boss Owen Heary

Shelbourne manager Owen Heary certainly pulled no punches in his after-match interview on Shels TV, after they went down 4-0 to the students of UCD in Belfield last night.

In it, he labelled his side ‘absolutely disgraceful, no work-rate, no desire.’

Things will need to improve quickly for Heary’s side, as they play Cobh Ramblers next weekend.
